Neurology Services

Our neurology program provides family-centered care for children with diseases of the brain and nervous system. Families and primary care physicians team up with our neurologists to find the best ways to meet the special needs of each child.

Early diagnosis of a neurological problem is helpful. We will connect you with one of our qualified specialists to discuss a program that can provide your child an improved prognosis.

We see children and teens from birth to 18 years. The most common reasons patients are referred to pediatric neurology services include:

• Seizures (first-time seizures, epilepsy and further evaluation of undiagnosed "spells")
• Migraine headaches
• Nerve and muscle disorders and conditions (muscular dystrophies, inherited neuropathies, myasthenia gravis)
• Movement disorders (tics, Tourette syndrome, tremors and chorea)
