Spectrum Health Cancer Center has the largest and most comprehensive upper gastrointestinal (UGI) programs in the region. With a team of experts dedicated to this complex field, we can offer a full complement of the very latest in diagnostics and treatment for benign and malignant tumors of the upper gastrointestinal tract, including:

The UGI Tumor Board (multispecialty team conference) is held weekly to prospectively review complex patient cases. Together, the board determines the best treatment option for each patient. Among the specialties represented on this tumor board are surgical, medical and radiation oncology, pathology, gastroenterology, interventional radiology, research and genetics. As the referring physician, you are invited to attend your patient’s multispecialty team conference or any of our disease site-specific tumor boards.
