Our comprehensive approach includes diagnosis, treatment and surgical interventions for everything from eye infections to visual processing disorders. According to the American Academy of Pediatrics, a pediatric ophthalmologist is specially trained to provide medical and surgical treatment for vision problems and diseases of the eye in infants, children and adolescents.

This can include:

• Care for eye injuries
• Diagnosing problems of the eye caused by diseases of the body such as juvenile diabetes or juvenile rheumatoid arthritis and other medical and neurological diseases
• Diagnosing visual processing disorders
• Prescribing glasses and contact lenses
