Partners in Children's HealthPartners in Children's Health, a partnership in care, allows the medical team and employees at Helen DeVos Children's Hospital to collaborate with more than two dozen hospitals in Michigan.
The partnership provides care close to home for children and families, and maintains close working relationships with partner hospitals.
Partner hospitals receive such benefits as:
- Help with quality initiatives to enhance patient care
- Continuing medical education programs in pediatrics for doctors and nurses
- Quarterly meetings regarding pediatric health care initiatives
The program also helps children in partner communities by providing:
- A regional system of care connected to Helen DeVos Children's Hospital
- Advocacy for children's health and safety
- Comfort kits stocked by our child life team
Northern Michigan Pediatric Coalition Helen DeVos Children's Hospital also participates in the Northern Michigan Pediatric Coalition (NMPC). The NMPC represents hospitals in 24 counties in the northern Lower Peninsula and eastern portion of the Upper Peninsula.
